MindLine Cumbria is an independent mental health support line for people in Cumbria. The project is run in partnership with the Local Mind Associations across the region. People contact us for all sorts of reasons. They may be looking for someone to listen to them or information about opportunities to meet with other people.
Some of the calls we take are from people in crisis and we find that by having someone to listen to them that the caller can work things out or we can help them access emergency support. MindLine Cumbria is open weekdays 12pm-9pm and Saturdays from 5pm – 9pm. You can call 0300 561 0000 or visitwww.mindLinecumbria.org for information about mental health and how to contact us via webchat, text and email.
We have a database of resources and information and as appropriate we signpost people to groups/organisations. If you would like your organisation’s details added to our database send me an email and I’ll add it.
I’d appreciate it if you would circulate this information to people in your networks. Mental health is as everybody’s business. We don’t want you or anyone you know to suffer in silence. Call us or speak to someone.
