Youth Services Lead
Anna started working for Cumbria Youth Alliance in 2017 and now manages theYouth Services Team. The Youth Services Strand is dedicated to building sustainability throughout the sector. We collaborate with organisations at all levels, from grassroots to national, offering support with governance, monitoring, impact assessment, fundraising, training, quality assurance, and knowledge exchange. Additionally, we oversee partnership agreements, integrating sustainability into these collaborations.
Our goal is to enhance the third sector's capacity by building sustainability, being the voice of the sector at a national level and ensuring high quality youth work, through partnership working we can address the ever-changing needs of young people in Cumbria.
I love meeting partner organisations and seeing the fantastic work that goes on in and around our county and am particularly passionate about championing true youth voice.
Having previously worked as a secondary teacher, then youth development worker, I love being allowed to go back to my roots and take part in a little delivery as and when required to help the team out!
