I joined Cumbria Youth Alliance during 2021 and it is a privilege to be part of the Board, helping to enhance the opportunities and support for young people across the county.
After growing up in Carlisle, I studied History in Newcastle before starting and building a career in Investment Management. I now work for a Westminster think-tank focused on social justice, with responsibility for our relationships and stakeholders in the north of the country. My activities also cover policy and political advocacy, central operational functions, and philanthropy management.
Presently I’m an MBA candidate with Warwick Business School, where my studies have concentrated on strategic design and implementation, and my dissertation on Corporate Social Responsibility. Other roles include management of a suicide prevention trust and varied formal and informal duties with several other charities and organisations in the North East and London.
Any free time is taken up hiking in the Lake District, or loyally (and painfully) supporting Newcastle Falcons rugby.
