The 'Money Matters' programme provides both life skills, financial awareness and budgeting skills for young people in care. Our aim is to enable these young people to look forward to a positive adult life, by helping them to reverse instability and enhance their employability prospects.

Breaking Barriers

The Breaking Barriers project supports young people 15-18 years old who live in Workington, Whitehaven, Cleator Moor, Frizington and surrounding areas who are NEET or projected NEET to build engagement, raise aspirations, provide training and improve career opportunities.

Bridging Horizons

Bridging Horizons is a groundbreaking project designed to introduce young people to Civil Engineering and its various career opportunities. Engaging with years 9-12 in schools and NEET young people aged 16-24, this 5-year project will see Cumbria Youth Alliance following and supporting young people from one year to another as they move into further education, training or employment.
