The Youth Services strand offers infrastructure support to the third sector and provides management to different partnership projects.
What is the Youth Services strand?
Our aim is to build the capacity of the third sector in Cumbria to better support the needs of our young people by directly aligning our activities with our strategic priorities.
The portfolio of projects available through the Infrastructure strand is informed by the needs of young people here in Cumbria and by supporting, engaging, and working in partnership with other third sector organisations and businesses.

CYA have robust systems and practices in place to mange and lead collaboration & partnerships projects for the county.

Governance health checks, including support with compliance, systems, policies and procedures.

Quality marks are a great way to show funders you have the correct governance in place to deliver projects. We offer access and support in gaining the nationally recognised quality kite mark - SQP.

CYA chair the Voluntary Sector Reference Group among representation on others, to become a member please contact us. We also have a monthly newsletter with regular third sector updates.
